Verse :
G
Sitting in empty air
Em
Used to be full of pretty words
How is this room so big
C
How have we become just him and her
Your name used to light
D
Me up in ways I didn’t know it could
D
But lately all I’ve felt is astronomically replaceable
G
You can have petty fights
Em
You can have storm out and slam the door
I know I’ve got white lies and
C
We know we’ve done its worse so many times before
C
And I’m not over you
I’m under all the lies that weigh me
D
Close to the other side of right
Chorus :
G Cadd9
It was like I’d run out of colours
D
Run out of words
G
Run out of wonderful things
Em
And the grace that I bring only burns
Cadd9
We’ve run out of trying
D
Have you run out of faith
G
Coz if I’m tired of running
Em
You must be tired of hurting this way
Verse :
G
Can I just start again
Em
Can we go back to how it was
All I’m finding is loose ends
C
When we used to hold so strong
And I can’t pin point
D
The moment that it all just fell right down
G
I guess I always let you down
Chorus :
Cadd9
It was like I’d run out of colours
D
Run out of words
G
Run out of wonderful things
Em
And the grace that I bring only burns
Cadd9
We’ve run out of trying
D
Have you run out of faith
G
Coz if I’m tired of running
Em
You must be tired of hurting this way
Bridge :
Cadd9 D
I am tired of over thinking
G
When you leaving next
Em
Holding my breath
For you to hold me once again
Cadd9 D
I am tired of slowly sinking
D
Underneath your
Pressing need to
Em
Let me down again
Chorus :
G Cadd9
It was like I’d run out of colours
D
Run out of paint
G
Coz now every song that I write
Em
Fills the space that your words used to take
Cadd9
I’ve run out of trying
D
Have you run out of faith
G
Coz If I’m tired of running
Em
You must be tired of hurting this way
