Part 1 : Hard Feelings Intro : (Go back and tell it) Verse 1 : G C Please could you be tender and I will sit close to you Em C Let's give it a minute before we admit that we're through G C Guess this is the winner, our bodies are young and blue Em C I'm at Jungle City, it's late and this song is for you G Cause I remember the rush, when forever was us C Before all of the winds of regret and mistrust Em Now we sit in your car and our love is a ghost C Well I guess I should go, yeah I guess I should go Chorus 1 : Hard feelings G C These are what they call hard feelings of love Em C When sweet words and fevers all leave us right here in the cold, oh oh G C Alone with the hard feelings of love Em C God I wish I believed you when you told me this was my home, oh oh Verse 2 : G C I light all the candles, cut flowers for all my rooms Em C I care for myself the way I used to care about you G These days, we kiss and we keep busy, the waves come after midnight C I call from underwater, why even try to get right? Em When you've outgrown a lover, the whole world knows but you C It's time to let go of this endless summer afternoon Chorus 2 : Hard feelings G C These are what they call hard feelings of love Em C When sweet words and fevers all leave us right here in the cold, oh oh G C Alone with the hard feelings of love Em C God I wish I believed you when you told me this was my home, oh oh Outro : G C Em C (x4) G C Three years, loved you every single day, made me weak, it was real for me, yup, real for me Em C Now I'll fake it every single day 'til I don't need fantasy, 'til I feel you leave G C But I still remember everything, how we'd drift buying groceries, how you'd dance for me Em C I'll start letting go of little things 'til I'm so far away from you, far away from you, yeah Part 2 : Loveless Intro : "What is this tape?" Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor born 7 November 1996, known professionally
as Lorde (pronounced "lord"), is a New Zealand singer and songwriter.
Taking inspiration from aristocracy for her stage name, she is known for
employing unconventional musical styles and thoughtful songwriting.
Born in the Auckland suburb of Takapuna and raised in neighbouring
Devonport, Lorde expressed interest in performing at local venues in her
early teens. She signed with Universal Music Group in 2009 and
collaborated with producer Joel Little in 2011 to start recording
material.
Universal Music commercially released the pair's first collaborative effort, an extended play (EP) titled The Love Club, in 2013. The EP's international chart-topping single "Royals" helped Lorde rise to prominence. Her debut studio album Pure Heroine followed that year and achieved critical and commercial success. The following year, Lorde curated the soundtrack for the 2014 film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 and recorded several tracks, including the single "Yellow Flicker Beat". Her second studio album Melodrama (2017) garnered widespread acclaim and debuted at number one in the United States.
