Intro : A
        F#m E A E

Verse 1 :
A
Let me set the scene, Saturday night
                    B A
Alarm for the close ruining my hype
                                        E
I tell my mates, "Lads, excuse note for me"
                                      A
Come on summoner, the rabbi will be innocent
A
I said I spend enough of my life just waiting in line
                F#m E A
And I won't let another split second go by
         F#m A
I take a stroll 'round London town
E
Just me on my own, see how it plays out
A
So I take to the streets, just me and my lonesome
                 F#m E A
30 Pound which I gave a tenner to a homeless man
A
An individual whose found it hard to formulate a plan
F#m E
God knows I can relate to that, I can relate to that

Pre Chorus :
               B F#m
And I'll carry on moving through London town
              B A
Just cruising 'til the lights go down
                 B A F#m
Yeah, I'll carry on moving through London town, yeah

Chorus :
A B A E A
And I walk around on these city streets
            G# A
With my headphones blaring
     C# A E
I barely got the ground beneath my feet
F#m G# A C# A
The city's acting out another play for me
            G# A
And I think I will stay in my drunken haze
               E
I'll watch the show for free, I'll watch
                  B
the show for free

Verse 2 :
A
There's a lady in the street
                                     F#m
Asking people not to speak too loudly 'cause
B A
All the lads are acting rowdy
                     C# E F#m G#
The clubs are closed and the crowds departed
    A
And there's cabs queuing up round the corner
           G#
Kebab shop lights, balloon man stories
A
It's one for five, three for a tenner
E F#m G#
They're the perfect way to end your bender
A
Couple lads on the sidewalk arguing
               E A
Alcohol fumes, plus adrenaline
A
It's a combination that will never win
E
First come police, then the ambulance
E
Said first come police, then the ambulance

Pre Chorus :
         B F#m
And I'll carry on moving through London town
     B A
Just cruising 'til the lights go down
      B A
Yeah, I'll carry on moving through London town, yeah

Chorus :
           G# C# E A
And I walk around on these city streets
        B A
With my headphones blaring
     C# E
I barely got the ground beneath my feet
        B A C# A
The city's acting out another play for me
            G# A
And I think I will stay in my drunken haze
           E
I'll watch the show for free,
                             C
I'll watch the show for free

Bridge :
           G D E
'Cause sometimes you see a world that you have never seen
    G A E C
The good, the bad, the ugly and somewhere in between
                        D E
Well, these nights will highlight the beauty you don't notice
                         D
In a world that's hardly coping
E
We just keep on hoping, we just keep on

Chorus :
G# A C# A
Walking around these city streets
             G# A
With our headphones blaring
                      E
Barely got the ground beneath our feet
    A B A C#
The city's acting out another play for me
    A G# C# A C#
And I think I will stay in my drunken haze
           E
I'll watch the show for free, I'll watch
