P!nk - Circle Game

Intro : Csus2 G D

Verse 1 :
           Csus2 G D
For all my hard talk, I'm still just a daddy's girl
        Csus2 G D
In this hard shell, there's tiny cracks from a big world
                  Csus2 Em7
And there's still monsters in my closet and they want to come and play
              D
There's still sounds in the dark, I wish they'd go away
  Csus2 Em7 D
I know, I know, I know, I know I'm a big girl now
  Csus2 Em7 D
I know, I know, I know, I know I better work it out

Verse 2 :
           Csus2 G D
I've got a little girl of my own and she looks at me
           Csus2 G D
Like I'm a badass and you know that I wanna be
                Csus2 Em7
And now there's monsters in her closet and they wanna come and play
            D
And I start looking for my dad to come and make 'em go away
  Csus2 Em7 D
I know, I know, I know, I know that it's my job now
  Csus2 Em7 D
I know, I know, I know, I know I better work it out

Chorus :
       Am G/B D Em7
In the circle game, no one ever stopped to say
 Am G/B
Soon it's gonna change, it all just goes away
 D Dsus4 D
Count your lucky stars that you had a chance to play

In the circle game, no one ever stops to say
 Am G/B
Soon it's gonna change, it all just goes away
 D Dsus4 D
Count your lucky stars that you had a chance to play

Verse 3 :
        Csus2 G D
I had a hard day, and I need to find a hiding place
        Csus2 G D
Can you give me just a second to make it through these growing pains?
      Csus2 Em7
And I know that it's just life and I must go through things alone
        D
But I'm feeling kinda small, I want his hand to hold
  Csus2 Em7 D
I know, I know, I know, I know I'm a big girl now
        Csus2 Em7 D
Yeah, I know, I know, I know, I know we all just work it out

About P!nk

P!nk Profile
P!nk
Alecia Beth Moore (born September 8, 1979), known professionally as Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Originally a member of the girl group Choice in 1995, LaFace Records saw potential in Pink and offered her a solo recording contract. Her R&B-influenced debut studio album Can't Take Me Home (2000) was certified double-platinum in the United States and spawned two Billboard Hot 100 top-ten songs: "There You Go" and "Most Girls". She gained further recognition with the collaborative single "Lady Marmalade" from the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack, which topped many charts worldwide. Refocusing her sound to pop rock with her second studio album Missundaztood (2001), the album sold more than 13 million copies worldwide and yielded the international number-one hits "Get the Party Started", "Don't Let Me Get Me", and "Just Like a Pill".

While Pink's third studio album, Try This (2003), sold fewer copies than her previous work, it earned her the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. She returned to the top of record charts with her fourth and fifth studio albums, I'm Not Dead (2006) and Funhouse (2008), which generated the top-ten singles "Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand", as well as the number-one hit "So What". Pink's sixth studio album, The Truth About Love (2012), was her first album to debut atop the Billboard 200 chart and spawned her fourth number-one single, "Just Give Me a Reason". In 2014, Pink recorded a collaborative album, Rose Ave., with Canadian musician Dallas Green under a folk music duo named You+Me. Her seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma (2017), became the third best-selling album of the year and saw the success of its lead single, "What About Us".
