Koe Wetzel

Intro : Am F C G (x2)

Verse :
Am          F          C      G
I can rob a bank in an ol' Mustang
Am                F            C         G
I could fight the cops with my bare two hands
Am        F           C         G
End up in jail eatin' microwave hell
    Am           F            C     G
But I'm a little smarter than that

Am           F             C         G
I could even wait 'til the night got late
Am              F            C      G
Maybe with some fog and rain too
Am            F                C              G
Steal all the riches from them greedy

sons of bitches
    Am         F            C
And send in my story to the news

Chorus :
                F            Am   G
Then you'd have somethin' to talk about
     F             Am  G
Tell 'em I'm Jesse James
           F
Yeah we'll make 'em all believe it
          Am       G
Nah there ain't no doubt
     F               Am   G       F
That I will give you somethin' to talk about

Verse :
Am        F       C            G
Take to a bar and drink like a sailor
    Am          F       C      G
And take home a married woman
Am       F                        C         G
Tell her that I love her when her man walks in
    Am            F           C     G
and puts a hollow point in my head
      Am        F       C           G
Later on at the funeral everyone is cryin'
        Am              F              C
I could bust out of the casket that my
    G
momma picked out
Am        F          C          G
Dance all around the jolly good fellow
     Am         F     C
Well then you'd have, then you'd have

Chorus :
F            Am   G
Somethin' to talk about
    F                Am  G
Tell 'em I've gone insane
           F
Yeah we'll make 'em all believe it
          Am       G
Nah there ain't no doubt
     F               Am    G      F      C
That I will give you somethin' to talk about
F
Talk about
C
Mmmmh Get to talkin'

Chorus :
G
Then you'd have
Am                G
Somethin' to talk about
                         E
Tell 'em I'm strung on cocaine
           F
Yeah we'll make 'em all believe it
          Am       G

Koe Wetzel
Wetzel was born in the East Texas town of Pittsburg on July 14, 1992. He picked up his interest in music from his mother, who was a singer and brought young Koe on the road with her, he sang on-stage with her for the first time when he was just six. Wetzel took up the guitar at the age of 12, but while he had a love for music, it took a back seat to sports while he was growing up.

In high school, Wetzel played both football and baseball, and he went on to play football for Tarleton State University. As Wetzel's interest in football began to wane, however, his love of music grew, and in 2012 he left school to focus on songwriting and performing. He put together a band, Koe Wetzel & the Konvicts, and they released an EP, Love and Lies, in June 2012. Wetzel and his group hit the road hard, playing extensively in Texas and around the Southwest, and their passionate live shows, rowdy but relatable lyrics, and strong charisma helped them win a loyal following, especially among college students and twenty-somethings.
