Felt This Way Chords and Lyrics by Carly Rae Jepsen
Carly Rae Jepsen - Felt This Way

Verse 1 :
             D
I tried your mouth and I can't come back
          D
So little time and I'm way off track
            G
I can't stay away (Away, away, away, away)
            G
I can't stay away (Away, away, away, away)
              D
The city's so hard when you sleep alone
            D
I need your hands when you drive me home
             G
I can't stay away (Away, away, away, away)
             G
I can't stay away (Away, away, away, away)

Pre Chorus :
    D
But I can't take much more of your hesitating
D
Both our hands speak for us and complicate it
G
My home is your body, how can I stay away?
    D
And if my love's too strong for you, walk away
D
But I can't make this wrong when I see your face
G
My home is your body, how can I stay away?

Chorus :
D
Oh, if it was only an attraction
                             G
How come nobody ever felt this way?
G
If it was only a distraction
G
How come I can't stay away?
D
How come I can't stay away?

Oh, you were a party to the action
                           G
I think nobody ever felt this way
G
If it was only a distraction
G
If it was only a distraction

How come I can't stay away?

Verse 2 :
           D
Wherever I go, I still see your face
           D
So little time, there's no time to waste
             G
I can't stay away (Away, away, away, away)
             G
I can't stay away (Away, away, away, away)
             D
Reading your mind's getting hard to do
            D
Breaking my heart if you don't come through

D                              G
How come nobody ever felt this way?
G
If it was only a distraction
G
How come I can't stay away?
D
Oh, you were a party to the action
D                             G
I think nobody ever felt this way
G
If it was only a distraction
G
How come I can't stay away?

Bridge :
D
Those sweet summer lies
D
Your night after night
G
Come closer, I'll hold you
G
I need you now, now
D
It's still on my mind
D
Your time after time
G
Come closer, come closer

Chorus :
D
Oh, if it was only an attraction
                            G
How come nobody ever felt this way?
G
If it was only a distraction
G
How come I can't stay away?
D
Oh, you were a party to the action
D                            G
I think nobody ever felt this way
G
If it was only a distraction
G
How come I can't stay away?
