C
Ooh
Am
Ooh-ooh-ooh
F
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
C
Ooh-ooh
Verse 1 :
C
For some time, I've been
Am
Waiting for your star to shine so bright
F
I should say that it's your right to
hurt me, baby
hurt me, baby
C
If you wanted to, oh, but love isn't cruel
C
And for some time, I've been
Am
Singing you a lullaby each night
F
Whispering that it's your right to hurt me, baby
C
If you wanted to, oh, but love isn't cruel
Chorus :
C
That's why we got to hold on, baby
Am
We could believe that this love isn't crazy
F
This loving could save me
C
This love isn't crazy (This love, it isn't crazy)
C
You gotta stand where (Stand where) I stand
Am
Who could believe that you're holding
my hand now?
my hand now?
F
This loving could save me
C
This love isn't crazy (This love isn't crazy)
Post Chorus :
C
Ooh
Am
Ooh-ooh-ooh
F
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
C
Ooh-ooh
Verse 2 :
C
For some time, I've been
Am
Pillow talking in my head, my heart's vulnerable
F
But in my bed, I want you, baby
C
And all you put me through, oh,
but love isn't cruel
but love isn't cruel
C
Another night I swear I saw you
in my dream, dream
in my dream, dream
Am
We didn't say too much, but I understood
everything
everything
F
That you could hurt me, baby, and I could
hurt you too
hurt you too
C
Oh, but love isn't cruel (Hold on, hold on)
Chorus :
C
That's why we got to hold on, baby
Am
We could believe that this love isn't crazy
F
This loving could save me
C
This love isn't crazy (This love, it isn't crazy)
C
You gotta stand where (Stand where) I stand
Am
Gimme the seasons, I'm holding your hand now
F
This loving could save me
C
This love isn't crazy (This love, it isn't crazy)
Bridge :
Am
(I know it) And I want you bad
F
(I feel it) And I feel it bad
C
(I know it and I feel it and) Every day,
want you more
want you more
We were so insecure
(This love, it isn't crazy) Every day, learning more
We were so immature
Am
(I know it) I want you bad
F
(I feel it) And I feel it bad
C
(I know it and I feel it and) Every day,
want you more
want you more
We were so insecure
(This love, it isn't crazy) Every day, learning more
We were so immature (Hold on, hold on)
Chorus :
C
That's why we got to hold on, baby (I know it)
Am
I can believe that this love isn't crazy (I feel it)
F
This loving could save me
(I know it and I feel it and)
(I know it and I feel it and)
C
This love isn't crazy
(This love, it isn't crazy, hold on, hold on)
(This love, it isn't crazy, hold on, hold on)
C
You gotta stand where (Stand where) I stand
(I know it)
(I know it)
Am
I can believe that you're holding my hand now
(I feel it)
(I feel it)
F
This loving could save me
