I Want You to Love Me Chords and Lyrics by Fiona Apple

Artist : Fiona Apple
Song : I Want You to Love Me
Album : Fetch the Bolt Cutters

Verse 1 :
F
I've waited many years
                             Dm
Every print I left upon the track
 Dm
Has led me here
     F
And next year, it'll be clear
                             G
This was only leading me to that
    G
And by that time, I hope that

Chorus :
 C G6 Gadd4 A7 Gadd4  A7  Gadd4
You                     love    me
 C G6 6add4 A7 Gadd4  A7  Gadd4
You                     love me

Verse 2 :
F
I move with the trees in the breeze
              Dm
I know that time is elastic
F
And I know when I go
F                   G
All my particles disband and disperse
             G
And I'll be back in the pulse
    F
And I know none of this

will matter in the long run
    Dm
But I know a sound is still a

sound around no one
F
And while I'm in this body
            G
I want somebody to want
       G
And I want what I want and I want

Chorus :
C G6 Gadd4 A7 Gadd4 A7     Gadd4
You                    to love me
C G6 Gadd4 A7 Gadd4 A7 Gadd4
You

Bridge :
D7     G7
And I know that you do
D7               G7
In the dark, I know that you do
D7
And I know that you know that you got

The potential to pick me up
Am                           Am
And I want you to use it, blast the music
Am
Bang it, bite it, bruise it
D7
Whenever you want to begin, begin
D7
We don't have to go back to where we've been
G7
I am the woman who wants you to win
G7
And I've been waiting, waiting for

Outro :
C G6 Gadd4 A7 Gadd4 A7   Gadd4
You                  to love me
C G6 Gadd4 A7 Gadd4 A7 Gadd4 A7
You

You
