Verse 1 :
C Am
  Ooh ruminations on the looming
                        C
effect and the parallax view

And the figure and the form and the
Am
revolving door that keeps
C G
Turning out more and more good
           Bb
women like you
            F
Yet another woman to whom
                C
I won't get through
                   Am
Ruminations on the looming effect
                 C
and the parallax view

And the figure and the form and the
 Am
revolving door that keeps
C G
Turning out more and more
                Bb
good women like you
            F
Yet another woman to whom

I won't get through

Verse 2 :
Am C
Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies,

take it easy
Am C
When he leaves me, please be my guest
       Am G
To whatever I mighta left in

his kitchen cupboards
Bb F
In the back of his bathroom cabinets

Verse 3 :
       C
And oh yes, oh yes, oh yes
          Am
There's a dress in the closet
          C
Don't get rid of it, you'd

look good in it
         Am
I didn't fit in it, it was never mine
     C
It belonged to the ex-wife of
        G
another ex of mine
                          Bb
She left it behind with a note,

one line, it said
                     F
"I don't know if I'm coming across,

but I'm really trying"
        C
She was very kind

Chorus :
  Am
Fruit bat
C Am
Cuter than a button, mutton-head maniac
C G
  Fruit bat
Bb F
Cuter than a button, mutton-head maniac

Verse 4 :
Am Bb Am Gm
  Nobody can replace anybody else
Am Bb
So it would be a shame to
F
make it a competition
Am Bb Am Gm
And no love is like any other love
Am Bb
So it would be insane to
F Dm C
make a comparison with you

Am C Am

Verse 5 :
C Am

and the parallax view

And the figure and the form and the
Am
revolving door that keeps
C G
Turning out more and more good
           Bb
women like you

Yet another woman to whom

I won't get through

C Am
Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies

Ladies, ladies, ladies, ladies

Bb F

And no love is like any other love
C G Bb
So it would be insane to make a

comparison with you
