Kip Moore - Wild World Album

Intro : A

Verse 1 :
          A
I met the hunger, and it took my hand
            F#m
Got lost in wonder of a sinful land
                D
Yeah I took the drink, I liked the taste,
             E
I burned the smoke, I sparked the blaze
             A
That left me wantin'

It left me wantin

When I was desperate, and I lost my faith
           F#m
I found an angel in a broken place
           D
She led me out when I went astray
              E
She showed me peace, she lit the way
        A
Gave me comfort

She brought me comfort
           D
She led me out, when I went astray
              E
She showed me peace, she lit the way
        A
Gave me comfort

Chorus :
                             A
I guess I'm stuck out in the middle
                                             F#m
Cause I got this reckless heart that I can't tame
                                         E
Just when I think I've reigned it in a little
                                      A
I'm still somewhere between the fire and flame
                               A
Someday I might find my way to heaven
                                       F#m
Lord I hope there's still room on that train

But if you're looking for me tonight,
            D
I'll be out here burning bright
                               A
Somewhere between the fire and flame

Verse 2 :
        A
I met a wise man

With a golden key
            F#m
Deep in the shadows

Of a lonely street
         D
He had a love there in his eyes
             E
That perfect peace I recognized
         A
I knew I wanted, I knew I wanted
             D
He spoke the truth reached out to me
           E
He took my hand I shook it free
        A
Kept on walking

Chorus :
                             A
I guess I'm stuck out in the middle
                                             F#m
Cause I got this reckless heart that I can't tame
                                         E
Just when I think I've reigned it in a little
             D                           A
I'm still somewhere between the fire and flame
                               A
Someday I might find my way to heaven
                                       F#m
Lord I hope there's still room on that train

But if you're looking for me tonight,
           D
I'll be out here burning bright
                               A
Somewhere between the fire and flame

Bridge :
A
Someday I'll get where I'm going

Until then I'll keep on floating
E
Out here
   D                           A
Somewhere between the fire and flame

Chorus :

I guess I'm stuck out in the middle

Cause I got this reckless heart that I can't tame

Just when I think I've reigned it in a little

I'm still somewhere between the fire and flame
                               A
Someday I might find my way to heaven
                                       F#m
Lord I hope there's still room on that train

But if you're looking for me tonight,
             D
I'll be out here burning bright
                               A
Somewhere between the fire and flame

Outro :
                               A
Someday I might find my way to heaven
                                           F#m
And Lord I hope there's still room on that train
                         E
If you're looking for me tonight,
             D
I'll be out here burning bright

Somewhere between the fire and flame
