Kip Moore - Wild World Album

Intro : G

Verse 1 :
                 G
I shoulda been a cowboy

Livin' in the black hills

Livin' on the outside of the law

Yea crazier than wild Bill
          Cadd9
Ridin' my quarter horse

Kickin' in saloon doors
                          G
Drinkin' double shots of whiskey, yeah
            Em    D/F#   G
Wearing my single action piece
            Em     Cadd9    D
For all the honest world to see

Chorus :
                  G
I shoulda been an outlaw

Ready for a quick draw

Everybody call me the gun slingin' Southpaw
                  Cadd9
Ain't no time for runnin’

'Cause ya never saw me comin'

I could be dangerous I could be famous

Have my name babe in all the papers
           Cadd9
Sayin' I'm wanted, by the law and every woman
                        G
Yea they'd call me the Southpaw

G   Cadd9

Verse 2 :
                         G
I'd be stealin' me some kisses

From every little bar maid

Ridin' every westbound rail

Out on bail say to hell with the James Gang
           Cadd9
Livin' underneath the stars

Never give away my heart
                G
Just ride away smiling, yeah
                  Em       D/F#   G
Well they'd never take this boy alive
                          Em      Cadd9  D
'Cause don't ya know that legends never die

Chorus :
                  G
I shoulda been an outlaw
